1. Set the Commissioning strategy.
2. Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure adequate provisions have been made for testing, flushing, cleaning and other pre-commissioning functions.
3. Develop the commissioning procedures and checklists for the water and steam cycle systems.
4. Identify the required spare parts, consumables and tools for the systems commissioning.
5. Prepare Commissioning Budget
6. Identify and Resource the required Manpower for the power plant commissioning
7. Prepare the project commissioning schedule to fit with the project schedule.
8. Perform cold and hot commissioning for all water and steam cycle systems in safe manner.
9. Start-up & Commissioning for the power plant water and steam cycle systems with thorough understanding of industrial safety practices and water and steam systems processes.
10. Fulfill system quality documents, review turnover packages and provide records for systems commissioning data.
11. Worked closely with the equipment vendor service engineers engaged in commissioning activities.
12. Perform cleaning, flushing, steam blowout and pre-commissioning of plant mechanical systems.
13. Perform mechanical inspection, alignment, heat run, repair, troubleshoot of all mechanical equipment.
14. Conduct system walk downs and generate punch-lists.
15. Ability to administer the safety and clearance tagging procedure.
16. Work closely with the DCS engineers for systems controllers tuning.
